Palmyra High School Students and Families,

We would like to formally welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year at Palmyra High School.

When collaborating with fellow educators throughout the county, conversations frequently turn back toward our respective school communities. I am always proud to share that Palmyra High School is a fantastic place to be everyday.

Our students possess what most teenagers share on a daily basis, unbridled joy, curiosity and energy. They succeed in the arts, academics, and athletics, often outperforming schools that have larger enrollments.

Our parents and guardians are incredibly supportive and work with our PHS team to support the success of all students. We appreciate you and the trust that you put in us to help your students develop into excellent young adults.

Our staff is truly second to none. The creativity and passion that our teachers set forth in their lessons and conversations with students is inspiring. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated staff that works to see that all of our students grow.

Please utilize this newsletter to see important information pertaining to the 2026-2027 school year. We have some exciting changes to share.

We plan to send a newsletter every Friday afternoon updating you on the past week and previewing upcoming events. Additionally, you will find information on our website, phs.palmyraschools.com.

With appreciation,

Mr. Daniel R. Licata

Principal
